The first step is to preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, you will need to gather the following ingredients: 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups of milk 1 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 4 cups of thinly sliced vegetables (I used a combination of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) 1/4 cup of bread crumbs 2 tablespoons of melted butter
In a large bowl, whisk together the cheddar cheese, flour, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Next, fold in the sliced vegetables until they are fully coated with the cheese mixture. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the vegetables. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter. Add garlic and mushrooms and cook until tender. Stir in the broccoli florets. Pour the mushroom mixture into the prepared baking dish. Pour the milk mixture over top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese and the bread crumbs. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and bread crumbs are golden brown.
